Alkaline Trio
| The Alkaline Trio, founded in 1996 is a punk
rock band from Chicago, Illinois.
The band was founded in December 1996 and now consists of Matt Skiba
(guitar and vocals), Dan Andriano (bass and vocals), and Derek Grant
(drums and vocals). Their first album "Goddamnit" was recorded
in 1998 with the record label Asian Man Records. In 2000, the band also
brought a collection of their EPs out, in the form of the album "The
Alkaline Trio". In 2001, Alkaline Trio switched their record label to
Vagrant Records. There, in collaboration with producer Jerry Finn, the
albums "From Here to Infirmary", "Good Mourning" and
"Crimson" were recorded.
Many songs from The Alkaline Trio are about alcohol, boredom, death,
and heartache.
The Alkaline Trio is also featured on the Rock Against Bush Volume I CD
with the song "Warbrain".
The song "Wash Away" was used in the game Tony Hawk's
American Wasteland.

Issued three years after Alkaline
