Ani
DiFranco
| Ani DiFranco (born September 23, 1970 in
Buffalo, New York) is an American songwriter, guitarist and singer.
Her music style ranges from folk, punk, and Independent. Throughout her
career, she has included a variety of other styles into her music, such as
the late 1990s and early 2000s, when she was increasingly incorporated
with funky elements. In addition to the classic line-up bass, guitar, and
drums, she worked regularly with wind instruments, and strings.
Another important aspect is her virtuosity in fast finger picking, and
generally her excellent mastery of the acoustic guitar.
