Motörhead

| Motörhead is a British rock band that was founded in 1975.
Their influence on other musicians is compared to its own large commercial
success. The music of Motörhead combines influences from punk, hard
assigned Rock, Rock 'n' Roll, and Blues Rock with Heavy Metal.
The use of the vowel "ö" is not common in the English
language. Just like the band name to the group Blue
Öyster Cult. The Motörhead logo with the vowel "ö" is from
the graphic artist Joe Petagno who created the cover for the first album
of the group.
Between 1979 and 1982 the band had their most commercially successful
period, the albums from this period as Overkill, Bomber (both 1979) and
apply Ace of Spades (1980) as seminal for the heavy metal and a classic of
the genre. Since the early 2000s Motörhead recorded another increase in
popularity. The band's history is marked by numerous changes in the
composition, management and record label. So far Motörhead had been under
a total of 16 different label.

Ace
Of Spades (1980)
Feted by bikers, respected by punks,
Motorhead exemplified rock's outlaw chic. On Ace Of Spades their
speed-metal attack exploded with unparalleled fury. Thrashing guitars and
primitive drums underpinned vocalist/bassist Lemmy, whose blooded-throat
roar enhances the trio's aggression. Mind-numbingly basic and ... |
