Brad Paisley

Brad Douglas Paisley (born October 28, 1972 in Glen Dale, West Virginia) is an American country singer and guitarist.
Brad Paisley indicates that his love for country music was awakened by his maternal grandfather when the latter, donated his first guitar to him, and taught him to play the guitar at the age of eight. At twelve, Paisley wrote his first song, and at thirteen and he was the opening act for Ricky Skaggs and George Jones.

In 1999 his first album Who Needs Pictures came out. With his publications, he could reach so far, ten number-one rankings in the U.S. country charts. With 25 songs he made it in the U.S. pop charts, four of them among the top 30.

Brad Paisley performs on a Crook Telecaster electric guitar. For the Disney / Pixar animated film Cars (2006) he wrote and sang the soundtrack song "Behind the Clouds". In 2008 Paisley won a Grammy in the category "Best Country Instrumental Performance ". In 2009 Paisley won a Grammy for his song "Letter to Me" for the "Best Male Vocal Performance - Country ".

Paisley is married since 2003 to actress Kimberly Williams (known for the role of Dana in the TV series "According to Jim"), with whom he has two children.
