Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie rock
band that was founded in 1997 in Bellingham.
The band name is from a song by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. In Europe
they have become particularly well known for the television series
The OC, because the band is considered the favorite band of actor Adam
Brody. The series character speaks about the fact that Death Cab (common
abbreviation of the band name) was his favorite band. In addition, they
have in the second season a guest appearance, and some of their songs are
on the soundtracks in the series.
