Dolly Parton
| Dolly Parton was born on January 19 1946 in the small town
of Locust Ridge, near Sevier County, in Tennessee. She was the fourth of
twelve children. Her father was a simple farmer, earning something now and
then as a construction worker. Dolly had, like all children of Parton, to
contribute to the maintenance of the family. |
