Eminem (born October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri as
Marshall Bruce Mathers III), also known as Slim Shady, is an
American rapper and producer. He is a Grammy-and Oscar-winner, according
to Billboard magazine's he is the most successful rapper of the last
decade. His albums The Slim Shady LP, and The Marshall Mathers LP,
rank on number 3, and 7 of the most sold albums of the decade. The name
Eminem is derived from the pronunciation of his initials "M &
M"
