Epiphone Paul McCartney 1964 Texan Acoustic Guitar Antique Natural Nickel Hardware The Epiphone Paul McCartney 1964 Texan Acoustic Guitar is a faithful replica of the acoustic guitar with which Paul performed "Yesterday!" A limited production run of 1,964 Texans commemorates 1964, the year the Beatles came to America. They are sequentially numbered and come with a custom case and certificate of authenticity. The solid spruce top and solid mahogany back deliver full, rich tone. The 1964 Texan's one-piece mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard with pearl parallel inlays. All the details are right, from the matching grain filler/lacquer finish down to the 1/8" gap between the back center strip and the headstock detail. These Epiphone guitars are "hand-aged" to re-create the antique finish of the original. All the lacquer cracks and other wear and tear details are meticulously added by hand to accurately depict Sir Paul's original acoustic in its current condition. 25-1/2" scale with 1-5/8" bone nut. With each Epiphone McCartney Texan sold, Adopt-A-Minefield will receive a percentage of the profit.
