| G & L Musical Instruments is an American manufacturer
of electric guitars and basses. The company's headquarters is located in
Fullerton, California.
The instruments are a lot like the classical Fender Instruments, but
have modern improvements. In particular, the "Magnetic Field Design
pickups, the" Dual Fulcrum vibrato and the massive, as the
"Saddle-Lock bridge" designated bridge. By the end of the 90s
the necks for guitars, and basses, were developed with a 3-point fitting
and made with an adjustable screw neck-body angle. This kind of neck-body
connection has now a bad reputation because many Fender guitars from the
70s, who had this construction of the neck, developed pocket problems with
resistance, so for marketing reasons they switched to the traditional
4-point fitting. |
