Led Zeppelin
| Led Zeppelin is an English rock band founded in the late
1960s and early 1970s. The band sold to date 300 million albums, 111
million in the United States alone. Led Zeppelin is not only one of
the most successful rock bands, but they are also, in addition to Black
Sabbath and Deep Purple, a pioneer of hard rock, and Heavy Metal. They
were also influenced by other musical genres like the blues and folk
music. One of their most famous song is Stairway to Heaven.
The band members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham were together from 1968 until their breakup in 1980, they broke up after Bonham died in September 1980. On December 10 2007, at a concert in London, the official reunification of Plant, Page and Jones as "Led Zeppelin" was induced, which also included John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham, participating as drummer.
