Lou Reed (born Lewis Allen Reed, on March 2,
1942 in Freeport, Long Iceland, New York) is an American singer-songwriter
and guitarist. He was with John Cale, who was a founding member of the
Andy Warhol-inspired band, The Velvet Underground.
