Machine Head is an American metal band from
Oakland, which is often associated with the subgenre Neo-Thrash. The band
has sold more than 1.7 million albums so far. The band's name was inspired
by an album from British hard rock band Deep Purple.
Singer and guitarist Robert Flynn chose the name Machine Head, because he
loved the name so much.
