Miranda
Lambert (born November 10, 1983 in Lindale, Texas) is an American
country singer.

Lambert is the daughter of country music songwriter and guitarist Rick
Lambert. She started to play
guitar and wrote her own songs
when she was just 16. She also founded
the Texas Pride band, with whom she performed professionally. With the
support of her father, she took her 2001 debut album, which is
called after her. In addition, she participated in talent
competitions.
In 2003 she won the local precipitation for the Nashville Star. In the
televised finale of the talent show, she finished third place and won
a record deal. Their debut album on Epic Records called Kerosene and
got an instant No. 1 in the country charts. Over 100 weeks, it stayed
there and sold over one million units (Platinum status).
Two years later the next album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which was again
No. 1 on the Country Albums and the Top 10 of the official sales
charts. This album was awarded gold. Two years later she came out with
Album number three called revolution
Miranda has been three times nominated for a Grammy (2007, 2008 and
2010).
