| Rise Against is an American punk / hardcore
band from Chicago, Illinois. They were founded in 1999. The group is
known for their political engagement, many songs have ideological issues
as content. In particular, animal rights are important to the band: two of
the members are vegans, and the other two are vegetarians, they
support the organization Peta.
