Sean
Taro Ono
Lennon (born
October 9, 1975
in New
York,

an American
musician.
He is
the son
of John
Lennon and
Yoko Ono
and the
half brother of
Julian Lennon
and Kyoko
Ono Cox.
Sean Lennon's
life is marked
by his
famous parents
from
birth.
The first
five years
of his life
he spent
in
a
harmonious
family relationships.
John Lennon
devoted himself
entirely
to the family
and made
no music
from
1975-1980.
After the
assassination
of John
Lennon in
December 1980
his mother
sheltered him
for several
years from
the public.
Since about
1990, Sean
Lennon came
out
in interviews
and talked
about his
father.
In 1988,
13-year-old
Sean Lennon
and Michael
Jackson appeared
in the
video for
Smooth Criminal
and the
Jackson movie
Moonwalker.
1998 he produced
his first
album, Sean
Lennon Into
The Sun.
The casual
guitar-pop
songs were
well received
by critics,
but they were
a commercial
failure.
In the
U.S. the
album reached only
number 152
on the charts.
Sean
Lennon moved
to the label
Capitol Records
in
2001 . There
he published
in September
2006 the album
Friendly
Fire.
Directed
by Michele
Civetta,
Lennon made
to each
piece of
the album a short
film. In
these
extravagant
cinematic
snapshots
that together
produce a
concept album about
betrayal
and the
failure of
love,
Lennon
appears
along with
friends like
Lindsay Lohan,
Bijou Phillips,
Asia Argento,
Carrie Fisher,
Devon Aoki,
Jordana Brewster
and Jordan
Galland.
On his debut
album,
Friendly
Fire,
Lennon played
nearly every
instrument himself
While he
composed himself for
the most part,
for the recordings
of the songs
that were
mostly recorded
in a
single take,
he put together
a band with
different musicians.
Among other
things, Jon
Brion (organ,
guitar and
occasionally
drums),
Yuka Honda
of Cibo
Matto (piano,
keyboards,
bass), Harper
Simon (guitar)
and Bijou
Phillips
(background
vocals).
