sold
hand-made
guitars by
Healy.
Lyon &
Healy was
a company
that is
known from
the beginning of
the industrial
revolution. Soon
it expanded
and they
started also producing
the more
expensive guitar
models in
series.
Nevertheless, they
put great emphasis on
good and
clean wood
processing.
Even the
cheapest guitars
had a good
spruce top and
a body
made of Brazilian
rosewood.
In the
1920s,
the company purchased the
manufacturing
facilities of
Steward JR
Washburn.
