The 1735 guitar features a solid spruce top and lancewood back and sides, tortoise shell binding, and an abalone rosette. Its smaller size makes it an ideal travel instrument and is also great for littler players. The built-in preamp features a 3-band EQ that adds to the versatility of this instrument. All Wechter guitars including the Travel guitar undergo a meticulous final setup where they install brand new premium quality coated light gauge strings, adjust the action, adjust the nut, truss rod, saddle, file frets if necessary, clean the fingerboard and bridge, polish and repack - every guitar, every time, so that Wechter knows you are getting a guitar that will play the best right out of the box.
