ZZ Top

| ZZ Top is an American blues-rock band. They
were founded in 1969 in Houston, Texas. ZZ Top had with their blend of
Texas blues, blues rock, boogie, and hard rock, especially in the 1980s,
great success, and filled with their extensive tours, concert halls, and
stadiums. The band members are Billy Gibbons (born December 16, 1949 in
Houston, Texas Nickname: Reverend Willie G), Dusty Hill (born Joe Hill on
May 19, 1949 in Dallas, Texas) and Frank Beard (born 11 June 1949 in
Dallas, Texas). In addition to their unique musical style the band is
known for their distinctive appearance. Gibbons and Hill are wearing long
beards and their performances are usually in long trench coats, black
sunglasses and hats. |
