How to Use the Chord Finder
1. Select a Chord
Click the chord name button to open the search modal. Search for any chord by name or browse by category.
2. Find Voicings
Click on fret position numbers to see all possible voicings at that position. Scroll through available options.
3. Change Root Note
Use the piano keyboard to quickly change the root note of your chord.
4. Detect Chords
Enable detection mode to select notes on the fretboard and identify the chord name.
Settings
Tuning
Choose from multiple instruments and alternative tunings. The app recalculates all voicings for your selected tuning.
Notation
Display notes as: note names, finger positions (1-4), intervals, degrees, or MIDI IDs.
Playback
Choose to hear chords played simultaneously or as an arpeggio sequence.
