ProGuitar is a premium guitar learning platform offering high-quality video lessons, detailed TABs and notation, backing tracks, and a community forum. With over 100 video lessons from professional instructors, ProGuitar helps guitarists of all levels improve their skills.
What will I get with a subscription?
With a ProGuitar subscription, you get access to:

Are printable TABs included with lessons?
Yes, printable TABs (PDF format) are included with every paid lesson. Once you've purchased a lesson, you can download the TABs directly from the lesson page by clicking the download button.
Can I download the video lessons?
Videos are streamed online to ensure the highest quality and protect our content. You can access them anytime with your subscription. However, you can download TABs, notation, and backing tracks for offline use.
What skill level are the lessons aimed at?
Our lessons target intermediate to advanced players, though we also have content suitable for beginners. Each lesson is tagged with a difficulty level to help you find the right content for your skill level. New material is released monthly.
Do I need to be able to read music?
No! Our video lessons feature multiple camera angles so you can easily follow along visually. TABs and notation are provided as optional references, but they're not required to learn from our lessons.

What subscription plans are available?
We offer flexible subscription options:
- Monthly subscription - Pay month-to-month with the flexibility to cancel anytime
- Annual subscription - Save significantly with a yearly commitment
- Individual lesson purchases - Buy specific lessons without a subscription
Can I switch from monthly to yearly?
Yes! You can switch to the yearly membership at any time by visiting your account page. The system will automatically prorate the unused portion of your current monthly subscription and apply it as a discount toward the annual price.

How do I get an invoice for my subscription?
You can download invoices directly from your ProGuitar account page:
- Log in at accounts.proguitar.com
- Go to the Billing/Subscriptions section
- Find and download your invoices
Are there any long-term obligations?
No long-term commitments! You pay per month (or annually with a discount), and you can cancel your membership at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Can I purchase individual lessons?
Yes! If you don't want a subscription, you can purchase individual lessons. Once purchased, you'll have permanent access to that lesson, including the video, TABs, and backing tracks.
Cancellation
How do I cancel my subscription?
The cancellation process depends on where you originally subscribed. Please follow the instructions for your platform:
ProGuitar.com (Website)
Log in to your account at accounts.proguitar.com and manage your subscription from there.
Google Play (Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Select Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find ProGuitar and tap Cancel subscription
Apple App Store (iOS)
- Open the Settings app
- Tap your Apple ID name at the top
- Select Subscriptions
- Find ProGuitar and tap Cancel Subscription
What happens when I cancel?
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will not auto-renew
- You'll continue to have full access until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Individual lesson purchases remain yours permanently
I cancelled but was still charged
If you were charged after cancelling, it's possible the cancellation didn't fully process. Please check your subscription status:
- Google Play: Check under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Apple: Check Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Website: Log in to your account at accounts.proguitar.com
If the subscription shows as active, you may need to cancel it again. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us with your order details.
How do I cancel a free trial before being charged?
To avoid being charged, you must cancel your free trial before the trial period ends. The cancellation process is the same as for regular subscriptions - follow the steps for your platform (Google Play, Apple App Store, or website) to cancel before the trial expires.
Refunds
How do I request a refund?
The refund process depends on where you made the purchase:
Google Play (Android)

Contact us with your order details and we'll assist you with the refund process.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for subscriptions purchased directly through ProGuitar.com. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund.
For purchases through Google Play or Apple App Store, refunds are handled according to their respective policies.
How long does a refund take?
Refund processing times vary:
- ProGuitar.com purchases: 5-10 business days
- Google Play: According to Google's processing times
- Apple App Store: According to Apple's processing times
The time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
I need my order ID for a refund
You can find your order ID in your purchase confirmation email. For Google Play purchases, the order ID looks like GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX.
You can also find it in:
- Google Play: Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history
- Apple: Check your email receipt from Apple
- ProGuitar.com: Your account page at accounts.proguitar.com
Account & Login
I forgot my password
You can reset your password using the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
If you're not receiving the reset email, check your spam/junk folder.
I signed up with Apple and can't log in
If you signed up using your Apple ID with Apple's private email relay feature, your account is linked to an automatically generated Apple address rather than your regular email.
To sign in, please use the "Sign in with Apple" option (the Apple icon) on the login page:
I can't find my purchased lesson
Please ensure you're logged in with the same email address that was used at the time of purchase. If you're not sure which email was used, check your inbox for the purchase confirmation email from ProGuitar.
If you still can't find your lesson, contact us with your purchase receipt and we'll help locate your account.
Can I use my purchase on multiple devices?
Yes! Once logged in, you can access your purchases and subscription on any device. Just sign in with the same account on each device.
Note: Purchases made through Google Play are tied to your Google account and work on Android. Purchases through Apple are tied to your Apple ID and work on iOS. Website purchases work everywhere.
My Android purchase isn't showing on iPhone (or vice versa)
Purchases made through Google Play (Android) are not transferable to iOS, and vice versa. This is because Google and Apple use completely separate billing systems.
Your purchase will continue to work on the original platform where you made it. If you want access on a different platform, you would need to make a new purchase through that platform's app store.
Technical Support
The video isn't playing
If you're having trouble with video playback, try these steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Try refreshing the page
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser (we recommend Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
- Disable any ad blockers temporarily
If the issue persists, please contact us with details about your device and browser.
How do I download TABs and backing tracks?
On each lesson page, you'll find download buttons for:
- TABs/Notation: Click the PDF download button to save the notation
- Backing Tracks: Click the download icon next to each backing track
You must be logged in and have access to the lesson to download these materials.
The app is crashing or freezing
If the app is experiencing issues:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Restart your device
- If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
Your purchases are linked to your account, so reinstalling won't affect your access.
How do I update my email address?
To update your email address:
- Log in to your account at accounts.proguitar.com
- Go to your account settings
- Update your email address
For security reasons, you may need to verify the new email address.

What is Pro Guitar Tuner?
Pro Guitar Tuner is our highly accurate chromatic tuner app available for iOS and Android. It features:
- Precise pitch detection
- Multiple tuning presets
- Custom tuning options
- Visual cent display
- Support for guitar, bass, and other instruments

How do I cancel my Pro Guitar Tuner subscription?
The Pro Guitar Tuner app subscription must be cancelled through the app store where you purchased it:
Android (Google Play)
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find Pro Guitar Tuner and tap Cancel subscription
iOS (Apple App Store)
- Open Settings → tap your Apple ID
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Pro Guitar Tuner and tap Cancel Subscription
Is there a one-time purchase option?
Yes! In addition to monthly and yearly subscriptions, Pro Guitar Tuner offers a one-time purchase option that gives you permanent access to all premium features.
You can find this option in the upgrade/subscription screen within the app.
I can't find my premium purchase after switching phones
Your premium purchase is linked to the app store account (Google or Apple ID) you used for the original purchase. To restore it:
- Make sure you're signed into the same app store account used for the purchase
- Open the Pro Guitar Tuner app
- Go to the upgrade screen - your purchase should automatically restore
If it doesn't restore automatically, try the "Restore Purchases" option if available.
Can I transfer my purchase between Android and iPhone?
Unfortunately, purchases made through Google Play (Android) cannot be transferred to iOS, and vice versa. This is a limitation of how Google and Apple handle in-app purchases - they use completely separate billing systems.
If you've switched platforms, you would need to purchase Pro Guitar Tuner Premium again through the new platform's app store.
