What kind of strings and gauge do you use on your acoustic steel string guitars?

There are a lot of strings out there, and I am curious what strings you use for your steel string guitars? Also, do you like coated strings as well?
Emil Ernebro answers For my steel string guitars, I use regular D'Aaddario phosphor bronze 12-53. However, I actually change the 12 (high E string) to a 14 so that I get a better tone on the high E string even with a low action. Since I don't bend more than a whole step on the high E, it's definitely OK to have a thicker E string on top for me. My friend Joe Robinson showed me that, and I've been using it for years. I currently don't use coated strings, but they make a lot better coated strings nowadays so I'd suggest you to try them too! For me, the go-to brand is D'addario.
